A custom residence for a professional young family became a gateway to fun as each space developed into a possible gathering space ready for festivities. Fans of mid-century modern, we enhanced the period with a crisp palette of colors and textiles. Architecturally, the spaces lead us to streamlined materials combined with lacquer paint finishes and natural grained woods. There were interior budget restraints, but the homeowners’ allowed us to “treasure hunt “, so many of the furnishings are vintage or repurposed.
